Client needs
Our client needed a companion app with a welcoming and intuitive interface to demonstrate all features provided by these sensors to potential buyers. One challenge was to connect to the sensors via Bluetooth LE and to allow the transfer and visualisation of large amounts of data. A further challenge was to design the app with the polish of a commercial app while permitting more technical users to configure and evaluate the sensors at will.
Our solution
We provided user experience consulting and screen designs for the entire app based solely on the functional specifications. We developed the full iOS and Android apps as well as the underlying Bluetooth LE interface to connect with the sensors. We worked in coordination with the client’s firmware developers to shorten release cycles. Finally, we provided continuous support on bug fixes, new features and integration of new sensors.
